An Dushlan- Guider Advanced Training

An Dushlan- March 24th -25th 2012.

For those of you who've completed your Basic and Guider Intermediate and who are interested in reaching the top level of training in our Association, this course is for you. Guiders are expected to submit a project of their own choice. Below are a couple of suggestions that you might like to think about:

  1. Furthering our existing Guiding Programme
  2. A mentoring package for new Guiders
  3. A 3 month starter programme for new Guiders (any section )

As always YOU have the choice; the above suggestions are only ideas.
All projects must be completed and ready for presentation on Sunday the 25th March.
It would be appreciated if you could let us know what your project is by the 27th February as we don't want an overlap.

To book a place on the course, a refundable deposit of €30 must also be submitted to the National Office by 27th February. The deposit will be refunded upon arrival at the course on 24th March. Please note that places are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.

Fill out the event booking form and return to the National Office. Come and learn; hope to see you there!

In order to attend you must have completed your Basic and Intermediate Guider courses. Places are limited.

An Dushlan is an Advanced Guiders course run by the National Training Team. Participants work on a project with a common goal/challenge, agreed by the participants and the trainer alike, which they feel might benefit Guiding in their Diocese/ Region. Their project is presented at a residential weekend involving all the other course participants.
