Why Outdoor?

Well there's nothing like getting outside and breathing in some fresh air! Outdoor activities have always been an integral part of Guiding and is one of the things that sets us aside from many other youth clubs. Our outdoor education programmes provide opportunities for: 

• self-development
• learning to live together
• leadership and character development
• and most of all, for having fun!

What is the Outdoor Award?

It is an award for all age sections of CGI to take part in. There are challenges for Cygnets, Brigins, Guides, Rangers and Guiders to take part in.

To obtain your Outdoor Award badges you must fill out the record sheets found on OGM and return them to the National Office.
